Laser scanning data refers to three-dimensional point-like data depicting the ground and objects on the ground. Each point is provided with x, y and z coordinate information. Laser scanning data is collected i.a. for updating elevation models, creating 3D geometries of buildings, mapping flood risks, and collecting information about forest resources. The terms of use must be approved to use laser scanning data.

The dataset is available via the FTIA INSPIRE Download Service (WFS) for Transport Networks and it can be viewed via the FTIA INSPIRE View Service (WMS) for Transport Networks.

Grid net for statistics 250 m x 250 m covers whole of Finland. The grid net includes all grid cells in Finland. The location reference of a grid cell is the coordinates of the bottom left corner of each grid cell. An identifier in accordance with national conventions (consecutive numbering) has also been produced for each grid cell. The Grid net for statistics 250 m x 250 m is the area division used in the production of statistics by 250 m x 250 m grid cells. NLS-FI INSPIRE Cadastral Parcels Theme Dataset is a dataset depicting the Cadastral Parcels and Basic Property Units covering the whole of Finland. It contains the following INSPIRE feature types: BasicPropertyUnit, CadastralParcel, CadastralBoundary. The elements are updated weekly. The dataset is based on the NLS Cadastral Index Map database. The dataset is available via the NLS-FI INSPIRE Download Service (WFS) for Cadastral Parcels Theme and it can be viewed via the NLS-FI INSPIRE View Service (WMS) for Cadastral Parcels.

DVV INSPIRE Buildings Theme Dataset is a dataset depicting the Buildings covering the whole of Finland. It contains the following INSPIRE feature types: Buildings The elements are updated weekly. The dataset is based on "Väestötietojärjestelmän rakennus- ja huoneistotiedot" by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency (Digi- ja väestötietovirasto). Id-attribute indicates the permanent building number for buildings (VTJ-PRT). The dataset is available via the DVV INSPIRE Download Service (WFS) for Buildings Theme and it can be viewed via the DVV INSPIRE View Service (WMS) for Buildings.

Number of population by statistical units. The number of population on the last day of the reference year (31.12.). Statistical areas are municipalities, sub-regional units, regions, major regions, Regional State Administrative Agencies (AVI) and Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY). The statistical variables in the data are: total population (vaesto), share of the total population (vaesto_p), number of men (miehet), men's share of the population in an area (miehet_p) and women (naiset), women's share (naiset_p), those aged under 15: number (ika_0_14), share (ika_0_14p), those aged 15 to 64: number (ika_15_64), share (ika_15_64p), and aged 65 or over: number (ika_65_), share (ika_65_p). The data is suitable for the examination of population distribution and making various regional analyses. Laser scanning data refers to three-dimensional point-like data depicting the ground and objects on the ground. Each point is provided with x, y and z coordinate information. Laser scanning data 0.5 p has been spaced out from Laser scanning data 5 p's density of 5 p/m² to a density of 0.5 p/m². Laser scanning data 0.5 p is open data, and from 2020 onwards, it will be collected according to the national laser scanning programme (in Finnish): https://www.maanmittauslaitos.fi/laserkeilaus-ja-ilmakuvaus. For the time being, it is available only from certain parts of Finland. The product belongs to the open data of the National Land Survey of Finland.
